This authentic Saxon house is a good local headquarter if you decide to explore the Transylvanian rolling hills and its fortified churches. It has a large yard and a good shaddy place outside to spend hot summer days.

In April & October, this house is heated like in the old days, with traditional terracotta heater.

If you reserve this house, you will have the entire place and yard to yourself, regardless of the number of persons in your group.

When it comes to nice food and eating local, authentic food, you are good hands with Simona, the lady taking care of the house. She and her husband have a lot of domestic animals and a generous garden, so they are always ready to spoil their guests with fresh and clean food.

You will find the place warm, but you will have to continue feeding the fire and start it again in the morning if you feel it is necessary. We understand that while some might consider this charming, others would feel it is a bit too complicated for them.
